Lapwing and Chick

Celebrate the beauty of British birdlife with this striking Lapwing and Chick wood carving from Archipelago.

Elegantly hand carved from sustainable wood and carefully hand painted by Fair Trade artisans, this sculpture captures the unique silhouette and bold colouring of the adult Lapwing, complete with its distinctive head crest. Nestled beside it is an adorable chick, perfectly crafted to reflect the charm and fragility of these ground-nesting birds. Mounted on a rustic natural wooden base, this piece exudes character and craftsmanship. Like all Archipelago creations, it bears the signature teak tag – a symbol of authenticity and quality. Whether you're a birdwatching enthusiast or a lover of handmade décor, this piece makes a delightful and meaningful addition to any space or a thoughtful wildlife-themed gift.

Please note that all of our natural wood is reclaimed from the logging industry, therefore all the products are individual, and the wood used can vary.
