Ces canards sont sculptés à la main à partir de la racine du bambou géant, dans un atelier familial. Le bambou géant est cultivé en plantation et est très productif : un poteau de bambou de 50 pieds une fois récolté peut repousser en 50 jours. Les têtes et les pieds sont également sculptés à la main, à partir de chutes de teck achetées comme déchets recyclés auprès d'ateliers de meubles locaux. Les canards conviennent à une utilisation intérieure et extérieure et sont disponibles dans différentes positions.
